Easter Recap '15..finally

Finally getting a chance to recap Easter. As Kenzie is almost 2, the Holidays are becoming even more fun as we celebrate each one!

The week of Easter our Mom's Group had a little potluck and Easter egg hunt. It turned out pretty great! I planned it and was really surprised by the outcome. The kids had so much fun!

And one of our moms seriously won the "MOST CREATIVE MOMMY AWARD". Are these not the cutest?!

Easter Sunday we took our time, shoot I didn't even know where her basket was.. So I found the closest thing that can resemble her basket and while Daddy took Kenz in the other room I threw everything together and "hid" her basket.

She lit up when she found it!

In her basket this year was:

a blow up pool so I don't have to get in with her every time she wants to cool off.
2 rompers from Target
Princess pink Goldfish crackers (that were half eaten 'cuz Bob just opened them right up the night before)
Tons and tons of clippie bows. We like the little clips over headbands.
Her first pack of peeps (and only candy)- just cuz it's Easter. How can you not receive Peeps in your basket?!Buuuutt...We all don't like them so probably no Peeps next year.

Then I gave her the little eggs the "Easter Bunny" left for her the night before on our doorstep.. aka my Brother in law's girlfriend dropped off little treats. She immediately started to try to eat them. #momfail We didn't dye eggs this year.

Our only plans for the day were to go to my parent's house for Brunch.

P.s. I've come to a conclusion.. We are not a brunch type of family! We wake up way too early to wait and eat hours later. It was still great and of course we still ate after already having pancakes at home. ;)
