Drumroll please!

So at 21 weeks we've finally decided on a name for our soon to be new princess!

There were a good handful of names up on our name board that I really liked but none that felt like that was her name.. For a long time I really was leaning towards Aubree or Zoe (but pronounced zoey).. Kylie just feels like that's her name. Jayne is my mom's middle name, spelled just like that.

And it rolls nicely together Kenzie and Kylie . ❤
I've finally felt the attachment towards her this week and was dying to give her an identity...

We can't wait to meet you sweet girl!

Our little close to perfect weekend

This past weekend we didn't do much of anything... Probably what made it so perfect. Not that we've been very busy but pretty much every weekend there is something we're going to.

My hunny and I got along great. If you know us..some bickering and sarcasm is our love language <3 But this weekend there were no disagreements and just we were on the same page.

Little Kenzie girl, well she was pretty great too. Being alone with her all the time, pretty much 24/7 can be a little tough some days but we had a good weekend together.

On Saturday morning.. little babe #2 had me up early and Bob left early for a fishing tournament..So I had some "me" time before Kenz woke up. I was on the hunt for some backyard toys. I was all over craigslist and then came across a sandbox on one of our local Facebook swap pages.. I just asked the woman if she happened to have anything else and she sent me a picture.. SCORE! She offered the sandbox and old school play house with slide for just $15! I say old school cuz my sisters and I used to have the same little house and we always played in it!

My yard now looks like Little Tikes Central..

Between naps and picking up all of our new toys, we made a little stop at Walmart and stocked up on some t-shirts for miss little 3T. Seriously the best place to grab play clothes.. under $4-$5 a piece!
I also got a blow up pool for her.. even though we have a pool some days it may just be easier to let her get in the pool by herself and splish splash and play. Plus it was like $7 I couldn't resist.

I've been trying to prep our house for a busy Summer since I may not want to leave the house that much... Hopefully for her birthday too maybe we'll get some other little activity things to keep her entertained.

After Wal Mart we raced over to watch the weigh in where we saw our friends.

Funny thing.. Bob and Beau were supposed to fish the tournament together but plans changed for Beau.. and then the night before the tourney his plans fell through so he ended up calling to see if they still wanted to do it together... well Bob had already found another partner and couldn't just bail on his other buddy.. but guess what.. Beau ended up winning the tournament! We're happy for them, especially since it was a nice payout!

Bob didn't have a great day..womp womp but at least our friends won!
Afterwards we just had a relaxed evening.. I made eggs, turkey bacon and hashbrowns for dinner.. Some days those are the best dinners..breakfast for dinner.

Sunday, again I was up first.. I've been having pretty bad insomnia with this pregnancy and don't sleep very well. I started watching this new old show on Netflix, Hart of Dixie. It's cute.. and is something to watch if nothing is on. I watched that while started "pinning" for a 2nd birthday party all morning. Wahh.. I can't believe I will have a 2 year old.

Bob is still usually up about 5 even on the weekends.. he's just used to waking up early.. but this day he slept in...very rare. But he obviously needs to rest. Always movin that guy.. He never just takes a rest day or hour ;)

But once they both woke up.. that's all we did all day.. Just relaxed. I'd say a lazy day hanging out together but we still did yard work and play outside so it wasn't too lazy.

I made him take my 20week pic with my little 21 month old. Excuse our bed head. We didn't brush it all day..oops.

That lasted seriously forever and everyone was pooped after.. Dogs and babe! And well yah mom n dad!

We ended the weekend with a nice little bbq over at Grandma and Grandpa's since these cuties were having a blast at Spring Training in Arizona for 10days!

This is her having a green beer for me on St. Paddie's Day! Love them!

It was a great weekend! Looking forward to the next like this!

Wine, Bachelor and Yoga Pants {GIVEAWAY!}

So I have something exciting this morning! I am not a huge diehard Bachelor fan but sometimes, depending on if I happened to tune in one season, like I did with Andy (bachelorette) I wanted to watch Chris be the Bachelor afterwards. So.. I was glued to this past season of Chris where he chose Whitney (below).

I loved throughout this season of the Bachelor following some of the girls on Insta.. Some of these girls just brought good  bad, guilty pleasure entertainment! And I kept seeing all the girls post a selfie of themselves in this shirt below. Turns out.. it's my sister's roommate's company! When we went down to see her in January we got to take home our first O.W.L shirts. They are just cute tops! Perfect workout or lounge shirts.

After I saw Whitney's picture, I tagged my sis on it saying something like how exciting, they must be doing so well after that shirt!
And.. what do you know about 2 days later I had 2 shirts in the mail..One for me, and one to give away to one of you lucky little Bachelor fans!

Ps. I feel like I should clear it up.. Whitney is definitely not the prego belly ;) . Thank goodness my shirt fits my lovely lady bump.

My little almost Two-nager!

It's been awhile since I've done an update on little Miss K.
She is turning 21 months this week. Which if anyone asks me how old she is, I just quickly say "She'll be 2 in June!" much easier.. And if seriously someone were to tell me the age of their kid in that many months I would really have to think about how old the freakin kid is then for a sec. I don't want to think... just tell me! I was just asking to be nice!

Kenzie girl- You are... my sweet angel. Shy at first (just like me) and then you are good and play great with others. You still need to work on sharing. But what kid doesn't at that age? Your fav thing to do as soon as you wake up is get out of bed and go find the dogs! Then you run to the kitchen yelling "Cheats! cheats!" for treats. You give them each a treat and then we run down the list of your options for breakfast.. Lately I just hear "No" to everything. Your favorite word. It's still pretty darn cute and not out of control- yet. Then soon you start to demand, throw a little fit until I say okay you can go outside. All you want to do is put on your "chee" for shoes and for me to push you on the swing. Which you tell me by saying, "Weee, weee, weee" and moving back and forth like you're in the swing. It's pretty cute.

Your vocab is growing.. Still not very clear, like shoes but you're trying and we know what you mean. You also love saying "cheee" for cheese when we open the fridge. You tell us more, which sounds like want more..and you have had down Mommy, dad, daddy, nonie, Chi (oreo, one of his nicknames), Nil (for Nilla).. There's more I know I'm forgetting.. I counted once you had about 15 down..

Size wise, you're about 26lbs last we checked in February. Size 2T-3T. And size 7 shoes. Big foot like your parents! Size 4 diapers stiill and it's the cutest because my Papa loves to buy diapers for you. He's always sending home packs and packs of diapers. And now he's getting me started with newborn and size 1's for baby sister. I'm looking forward to starting to potty train though so we only have 1 in dipes.. We shall see how that goes!

Health- Well this winter I think since we're so social and you were going to the gym's playcenter a lot, you received a few colds. I feel like every 2 weeks there was a runny nose.

We also had quite the scare. The most terrifying yet. One day early February you and I were napping babygirl, and I woke up to check the time since we had a bday party to go to.. After looking at the phone I heard a noise from you, laying right beside me and you were having a seizure. The scariest moment of my life. I didn't know if you were just sleeping with your eyes open so I tried to wake you.. Then when you wouldn't wake up I picked you up and noticed your lips quickly started turing bright blue and your mouth was clenched shut. I called 911. And as I was talking to the operator you let out a cry. A weird cry but at least you were breathing. I heard the ambulance and fire truck already coming. Thank god they were so fast. In the ambulance you only had a fever of 99.7 so it wasn't even terrible. I had no idea you were sick. You had felt normal and acted normal. In the hospital they concluded it was a febrile seizure, and maybe your fever spiked while we were sleeping but quickly went down. Poor girl. To be safe we had an EEG done to check your brain and make sure there wasn't a reason other then your fever that caused this. You did amazing. It was a little scary for us and you did so great. The results turned out perfectly fine, and just we were advised that now that this has happened to you, it could happen again. So that's a little scary and I check your temperature pretty frequently now. And at a 99 temp you will be receiving Tylenol to be safe..

Your second Valentine's day..Daddy took us to the beach where he took Mommy for our first Valentine's day. [Stinson Beach]

You are just so much fun. I love you at this age.

Now I'm starting to plan your 2nd birthday party which is just crazy but i'm excited. You have so many little friends you will have a blast. It's so sad that really time just goes by so fast. You will always be my baby but I can't wait to see you become a big sister.

To do before Baby#2!

I started thinking about a couple of things that we didn't end up doing when I was pregnant with Kenzie. This time! This time we're doing them!

a Babymoon! Well in reality it'll be a little anniversary/birthday/babymoon getaway. Nothing too far, and nothing planned yet but in June I want to plan something. This will also be our first time, more than 1 night away from Kenzie. I'm thinking Lake Tahoe. I think the last we went was for the 4th of July...

Maternity photos. I didn't do them the first time, just cuz I couldn't justify the money being spent on them. But we have a little friend who's in high school taking photo classes and she's done a couple of shoots for us already and at her super cheap price she is pretty dang good! Can't wait!

Should we do some like this?? haha

Lots to do around the house. Now that our front yard is finally done, it's on to the next project! We want to paint the outside of the house and fix up the backyard. We don't plan on doing too too much to our backyard since we plan on keeping the pool this year, but probably after this summer we'll get rid of the pool. It's a lot of work. We plan on renting out our home eventually so that'll be less to worry about.. but we are definitely not getting rid of it while i'm super pregnant this summer! You can find me probably every day this summer in the pool. Every naptime i'll just be floatin' away!

before. For like years.. It was so ugly before.
After! finally! Can't wait til the SPRING when everything starts blooming!
MY BFF IS GETTING MARRIED!
I secretly wish she was having me in her wedding this July, but also am very okay with not being involved in the party because I will be SUPER prego. I will love just sitting back (sweating my ass off) and watching the beautiful bride on her amazing day. I cannot wait.

Celebrate my baby turning 2! What?! I know I said it after her fab Minnie Mouse party last year that next year will be small.. but who am I kidding. We have so many little friends now! It'll be fun to do it again where she'll actually be really enjoying it and kinda getting what's going on.
Let the party planning begin! It'll be here before we know it!

Have a baby sprinkle. For those that have absolutely no idea what i'm talking about.. it's a mini shower :) Get it?! I've had to explain that a couple times recently. Fortunately for us we're being blesses by another baby girl so I already have pretty much everything. But you know what I do need? Diapers. And I may have created a small registry since there is something everyday they're coming out with that I wish they had when Kenzie was born. So sure, let's celebrate me again, being pregnant one last time. And more importantly the soon to be baby sister. Now.. the problem.. who wants to throw it for me? lol I'll throw it for myself if no one offers. An excuse for everyone to get together!
obvi not mine, but i'll prob steal it for ours! Super cute!
Along with all that.. there will be Kenzie's first camping trip, many pool days at Grandma and Grandpa's, I'm sure a few trips to the zoos and aquariums, and quality time relishing my days with my only child.

I'm pretty much 1/2 way there (19weeks) which is just crazy to me. This pregnancy is flying by. We still have no name, no nursery we need to put together, no things to buy.. it'll pretty much just be like she showed up one day! And then our family will be complete! :)

Week 18 #bumpwatch

a couple days before week 18mark.

How Far Along: 18 weeks! (3-7-15)

Size of the Baby: A Sweet Potato

Maternity Clothes: I'm still wearing all normal clothes, but i'm coming across many shirts that are not long enough.. and busted out the elastic waist skirts ;) Also am still holding my pants together with the hair tie.

Stretch Marks: Honestly I really haven't paid too much attention. And haven't tried to prevent. I don't think I got too many or noticeable ones last time either.

Weight gain: I'm now -1-2 lbs down from pre pregnancy weight.

Sleep: Crazy dreams. Still cannot sleep through the night. And now just recent but my bladder is starting to feel very small at night.

Best Moment of the Week: This week, getting to hear little girl's heartbeat. Everything sounds great and healthy! Can't wait to see her next week with the anatomy ultrasound.

Movement: Yes, all the time. This little chick is strong! I started feeling her move about week 15-16.

Food Cravings: Sweets! Gimme all the candy. I'm also trying to hold back because not sure if you remember but after having Kenzie, I had 9 cavities. 9!! And very clean teeth, but apparently miss K took all my nutrients from me. As she should. ;) But i'm hoping that doesn't happen here. Ouch. And $$.

Gender: Baby Girl!

Belly Button in or out: In but it's pretty flat after breakfast. Crazy. I guess it's 'cuz my uterus is high or just above my bellybutton.

Anything making you queasy or sick?: No thank goodness. I'm pretty lucky.

What I miss: nothing really. Crazy right? although Kenzie's had a cold and has one of her 2yr molars coming in, so a couple times I really wanted a dang drink.

What I'm looking forward to: Monday's anatomy scan. Will she still be a she? :)

Nursery: Sisters get to share a room! It'll make everything so easy too. Everything in one place! Little sister will be in our room for the first six months anyways by our bed in the rock in play which will probably be around the time Kenzie moves into a toddler bed so it'll work out perfectly. I'll just probably get a couple things here and there to tie in her lil sis' name too... ps. Still no idea on her name!

Emotions: i'm doin ok! Holding up pretty well. At times I can have very little patience but for the most part it's ok.

This morning I thought my side by side would be so much of a difference because I was just feeling like I got so big since my last picture last week. After a side by side doesn't look that much different but it just feels especially after I eat, like my stomach is going to burst.

a couple days after week 18 mark

Ungrateful

Today I am feeling very ashamed and embarrassed with how I've been acting during this pregnancy.

I have been constantly bitching about how "I hate being pregnant", "I'm so not looking forward to this summer because I will be miserable".

And the most random but seriously... How much I'm so bummed that I have to wait so long to be able to take all my favorite Advocare products again... I will be so grateful if I'm able to nurse babygirl #2 as long as I did the first time. And then you bet i'll be ready for a challenge afterwards!

I posted that a couple days ago and was telling a friend how much it sucks..  then I realized.. I need to get out of this mind set! I have friends right now that are really struggling on getting pregnant with just their first!

Who cares that I'll be uncomfortable this summer. I am having another child! I started to feel her kick a couple weeks ago... it's the best feeling ever. Who cares that I feel bloated now and just look a little thicker.. I'm so lucky to be having a healthy pregnancy.

Sure I'm always tired.. Well duh, being pregnant is already tiring and now I'm trying to keep up with a toddler from sun up to sun down mostly on my own. The nice thing about this pregnancy compared to the last, it's already going by pretty quick. Already a little over 4 months down.. 5 more to go! This summer just means K needs to get signed up for swim lessons because girlfriend and I will most likely be living in the pool!

I can't wait to spend her 2nd birthday with her this summer, and watch her grow even more and really have fun in the sun! My little booger. I love her so. I can't wait to give her a little sister. <3
