Weekend Away with Baby

Here’s what it takes to spend a weekend in the cabin with a 4 month old!

Along with some blankets, warm clothes and the cutest baby boots!

We went for some walks around the area where this all terrain stroller came in handy and for quick stops into town I took my ergo and carried her.

But most of the time she was either in her jumper or being passed around in everyone’s arms. We had drinks and snacks on the porch so I kept her bundled up with her new little The North Face hat.

Hey Katie- sorry I’m using your cute selfie since Kenz looks so cute in her little hat! ;)

And when she wasn’t sleeping in “Grandma’s” arms of course I had to bring her Rock n Play [lifesaver!!].
We had so much fun and it’s funny to see the whole car packed with the entire house (what it seemed like) just to entertain a 4mos old for 3 days but I didn’t want to regret not bringing something..Better safe than sorry! :) Can’t wait until our next trip and see what it will take us. Nothing planned as of now.. but every month, every day she’s interested in more or no longer interested in something..

McKenzie’s First Halloween

I went back and forth on dressing her up this year since I knew we weren’t going to do anything besides hand out candy. She had a few adorable Halloween outfits so I just considered her wearing one of those! I had bought the supplies to make her costume in September but they of course (my procrastinating self) sat in the bag until October 30th! Finally that night I decided just to do it! Hey even though we weren’t going to be going anywhere to show it off she will always now have this to play dress up with!
So I got to making her tutu!
It was my first time and turned out so cute!
The rest of the outfit: Last year around this time I found the hat at Kirkland’s on clearance so I picked it up for my upcoming Princess! Then I just paired it with a pink onesie I already had.

There was some mishaps though ha! I don’t know where I went wrong, but somehow I made it adult size. But it wasn’t a big deal, after putting it on her and realizing this I just took off a bunch of the tulle and then just ended with a big bow in the back. Now though it’ll be perfect and I can adjust as she grows!
I also planned on running to Target that day to pick up candy but the later and later it got I just decided that we’d go to my parents and help hand out candy there. We had so much fun spending Halloween with Grandpa & Grandma!

Oh and then there was this.
#PINTERESTFAIL

I’m pretty sure my babygirl hated this and was in a little pain. We realized really quick her legs were hurting so we pulled her right out!
I’m sad ‘cuz we have no pics with daddy but he was working late. We need to make sure or try at least that he gets off and home in time for next year since for sure we’ll be out trick or treating!
I loved seeing everyone else’s lil one’s costumes! Lotsa lil bugs! :) Makes me even more excited for next year!

24 Day Challenge Results ~ Final Days

So I’m a little behind. I’ve been so busy just you know with a 4month old. She sleeps a lot less these days making it harder to find time to blog.

Here’s the final week of my first 24 day challenge. I say my first, because I will definitely be doing this again! I love my results, I loved what the challenge did for me. Once I am done nursing I plan on doing the actual 24 day challenge.

I am so happy with my results. Do you see what looks like abs people?! I did no working out really either, other then walks, and planks. I attempted the 30 day plank challenge {you’re supposed to work yourself up to 5minutes by the end of day 30} I gave up after awhile. I made it to 1:50. After that, that shit hurts! How the hell do you do a 5 minute plank?! I would like to thank my favorite Catalyst for these babies.

I still have a little prego belly pooch- wondering if that will ever go away..

I’m hoping with staying on some of my favorite products like Omegaplex, Catalyst, the Probiotic and Coreplex, oh and duh of course Spark I can keep losing weight. I know I also need to keep making wiser food choices to do this.
My week 1 post had accidently been wiped out, but I luckily still had my measurements still saved. Phew!

Here are my final measurements:
All left side:
Seat- 45” –1”
Thigh- 27” –1”
Calf- 15 1/2” –1/2”
Hips- 39 1/2” – 1”
Waist- 39” – 2”
High Waist- 32” –2”
Breast- 39 1/2” –1/2”
Arms- 13” –1”
Total inches lost : 9” lost!!

Now that I look closer.. Ahh I lost a total of 12lbs! I’ve been saying 10 but after looking at these before and after pics of the scale! That actually made my day! :)

In the end of my challenge, I am feeling awesome and down 12lbs and 9 inches!
I plan on keeping with this healthy eating lifestyle.. Yes I’ll cave in every once in awhile so don’t expect me to not indulge a little during the holidays. And I even had some Halloween candy..3 little pieces won’t hurt.
Like my girl Jenn says..”90/10” It’s a good little plan to live by.
Also I think to hold myself accountable and to help others who may be interested in doing the challenge… I’ll update every month with weight and measurements. This system is not one that I will just gain the weight back afterwards..those 12 lbs were not just water weight.
Don’t worry if you’re concerned with my blog taking a different direction into a weight loss blog.. My blog has always been just MY LIFE and right now, my life is about my babygirl and bettering myself. :)

Now if you haven’t already.. Sign up for the Jewelry Swap!! I only have a few sign ups and the more the merrier!

Pick something out of your collection that you don’t really wear anymore! Someone else may love it! I’ll pair everyone up this Friday and let you know!
