DIY Gel Mani

I don’t know about you but I love getting gel manicures. I hate paying the $25-$30 +tip every time though.. PROBLEM SOLVED!

I came across this amazingness..

Gelous you can pick it up at Sally’s for $5.99. When I got it, it happened to be on sale for $4.99 so BOOM. Pair it with any nail polish and top coat and you’ve got yourself a Gel Mani for less than $6!

Ignore my painting outside of the lines.. I was in a hurry to get to the A’s game!

 

Mine lasted only a 2 weeks (I just took it off today (Sunday)) because my nail outgrowth is too fast and it bugs me (thanks to prenatals).. but no chipping just the nail bed outgrowth!

 

Here’s how to apply it:

• Apply 1 coat of Gelous to clean/dry nails & let dry (about 45 secs)
• Apply 1 coat of your fav nail color & let dry (again 45 secs)
• Apply 1 coat of Gelous & let dry
• Apply 1 coat of nail color & let dry
• Apply 1 coat of your top coat & let dry
• Apply 1 coat of Gelous & let dry
• Boom you're done!

When you’re ready to remove, it’s just like any other nail polish removal.. with cotton ball and nail polish remover- sidenote I use 100% acetone at home).

There you go. Thank me later now that I just saved you a fortune. ;)
