Baby’s 1st Baseball Game

This past Saturday the A’s played the Twins..(1 game away from clenching the AL West division title. We were hoping that it would happen this game but ended up having to wait til Sunday’s game). To celebrate my dad’s 53rd birthday (the 22nd) he wanted to go to the game but only if we could get a suite..Soo..my mom scored such a nice one (still $100 a pop) but it was soo worth it! We had our own private bathroom in our suite so no leaving to wait in the long lines, we had so much yummy but crappy for you food, beers and the best part was we had the best seats cuz Saturday ended up being the first rain and it poured! The game was delayed for 2 hours while we waited for the rain to calm down but while all the other die hards sat getting drenched we stayed nice and dry.


Last Christmas after we announced we were pregnant my parents got us little baby A’s, Giants, and Raiders outfits. I couldn’t wait for McKenzie to get to sport her A’s uniform. But once she had her lil onesie on she kinda looked like a little baby boy so I knew I had to find an A’s headband fast! There’s this Facebook page for crafty mostly moms from my area so I put out there that I needed this and this woman made the most perfect bow/headband.

She’s definitely gonna have her mam’s crooked smile with the one eye almost shut. Our lil happy family at her first game! Future softballer like the rest of us? Maybe!


I made the delish desserts! My girl Amber shared this recipe once on IG so I knew I had to make! FYI the serving size suggested must be for a HUGE party! We only had 6 ppl so there is plenty left over!

If the pictures don’t show it, we had an amazing time and when going with a group I swear the suites are the way to go to a game! It was so worth it! Ps if you were curious.. a 6 pack of beer was $33! Yes I couldn’t believe it! But I definitely brought in all that food and a big diaper bag which maybe ‘cuz I had the baby they trusted us? hint hint throw your own six pack in that shizz..
